What do you put in a fruit infuser water bottle?
- Grapefruit Basil. Incredibly refreshing and tangy — with minimal calories.
- Strawberry Jalapeno.
- Pineapple Mint.
- Blueberry Lime Cilantro.
- Watermelon Cucumber.
- Raspberry Lemon.
- Blackberry & Sage.
- Apple Cinnamon.
How long can you leave fruit in infuser water bottle? Fruit, like any fresh food, will start to spoil quicker when left unrefrigerated. Refill your infused drink with additional water as you drink it to maintain good flavor. Keep fruit in your infused waters for up to 24 hours. After that, strain out the fruit and keep the infused water refrigerated for up to two days.
Do you remove fruit from infused water? For optimal flavour, the fruit should be removed after a maximum of twelve-hours or so – longer and the water begins to turn bitter. It’s possible to re-use the fruit for more than one batch of water, but obviously, if it starts to look a little weary, it’s time to replace it with fresh infusion ingredients.
How many times can you use the same fruit to infuse water? You can reuse the same fruit and add another batch of fresh water over it once you have gone through your first batch. The fruit can be used (typically) up to three times, but it will also depend on the freshness of the fruits you are using.
